Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The post is open at the adjoint technique grades. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly.

The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of how specific equipment works
- Read and understand plans, diagrams, manuals and safety rules
- Spot faults in a structure, equipment or machine
- Apply workplace safety rules
- Organise your work according to written or spoken instructions
- Rigour, energy, responsiveness and a public service mindset
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your CV and cover letter by email to the town hall's human resources team. You can also apply on the employer's website from the official offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
