Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.

Diploma: Electricity diploma required
The profile they look for:
- Electricity diploma required.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and small masonry.
- Able to diagnose a simple fault.
- Able to work alone or in a team.
- Follow health and safety rules.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Work possible on weekends, public holidays and evenings.
- Indoor and outdoor work, with frequent lifting of loads.
- Travel across the whole town area.
- Standby or exceptional call-outs possible depending on the service organisation.
