Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Confirmed experience wanted.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of basic maintenance work.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety rules.
- Basic knowledge of safe lifting and handling.
- Good organisation, listening and observation skills.
- Driving licence B required.
- Experience and knowledge of local councils valued.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time post: 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
- On-call duty possible, and help needed for the Montmerle fair (first weekend of September).
- Driving licence B required.
- Remote work not possible.
