Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. A person without a civil service competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Confirmed level of experience required.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of roads, utility networks and green spaces.
- Basic first-level mechanics skills.
- Knowledge of safety and signage rules for work sites.
- Organised, methodical and rigorous.
- Good relations with residents and the team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, with a CV and a cover letter addressed to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
