Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, as the grade is an entry grade in category C. Open grades: adjoint technique, adjoint technique principal 1st and 2nd class.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of plants and tree species
- Knowledge of pruning techniques
- Ability to use motorised tools such as mowers and brush cutters
- Ability to work in a team and take initiative
- Follow safety, hygiene and cleanliness rules
- Knowledge of the road code and road networks
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Outdoor work in all weather, alone or in a team.
- Work near roads and with sometimes dangerous machines. Protective equipment is mandatory.
- Remote work is not possible for this job.
- Pay based on index, with bonuses, health insurance contribution and public transport costs covered at 75%.
