Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Know plants, how to care for them, and site safety rules.
- Master planting and pruning techniques.
- Master street and public space cleaning techniques.
- Know the basics of waste sorting.
- Hold a driving licence B, which is required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 8 (Closes in 10 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter to the town hall's HR department before 8 November 2026.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Driving licence B is required.
