Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade.

The profile they look for:
- Know the status, rights and duties of civil servants.
- Supervise children and manage conflicts.
- Follow hygiene and safety rules for school catering.
- Listen and observe well, and stay discreet.
- Work well in a team, with rigour and a helpful attitude.
- Report to your line manager.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
No deadline given: the offer can be withdrawn at any time, do not wait.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
