Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C. People recognised as disabled workers can also be hired on a contract basis.

The profile they look for:
- Be organised and methodical.
- Be able to listen, observe and be firm when needed.
- Be able to work as a team.
- Be energetic, quick to react and patient.
- Keep professional secrecy and discretion.
- Driving licence category B.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- May be assigned to another school as an occasional replacement.
- Works alone or in a team.
