Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Care about welcoming pupils, staff and the public well
- Be able to work in a team and do several kinds of tasks
- Organise its work with the team and the manager
- Know the hygiene and safety rules for community buildings
- Know how to use the equipment and products provided
- Know and follow safe lifting and handling postures
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
