Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Master cleaning techniques for rooms.
- Apply hygiene, safety and HACCP rules.
- Use products and equipment following instructions.
- Work well in a team and be multi-skilled.
- Organise your work using the schedule and instructions.
- Have good interpersonal skills and discretion.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 2 (Closes in 2 days)
Send your cover letter and CV by email to the employer, preferably, or by post. Give the job reference, and apply through the official offer page or the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Physical strain: long standing, high temperatures and noise.
- Teamwork and multi-skills required.
