Civil servants and contract staff can apply. Direct hiring is possible without a competitive exam, because this is an entry-level category C grade (adjoint technique).

The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of the buildings and halls to be maintained
- Knowledge of cleaning products and basic first aid rules
- Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment
- Teamwork and quick response
- Public service mindset
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Split shifts, rotating weekend work and weekend on-call duty
