1 Check the conditions You are here
Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know cleaning products and how to dose them correctly
- Know safe lifting and handling movements
- Know how to supervise and look after a group of children
- Apply safety rules and handle accidents, including first aid
- Show autonomy, quick reactions and teamwork
- Have a sense of public service and discretion
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your CV and cover letter by email to the employer's recruitment team. Put the job title or the job reference number in the subject line.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
