Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly for this entry-level category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and related products.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules.
- Able to work on your own and organise your work.
- Kind, patient and calm with children.
- Good relationships and team spirit.
- Able to report situations that need attention.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your cover letter and CV to the town hall by post or by email.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Part-time post of 31 hours a week, averaged over the year.
- Remote work not possible.
- Category C post, vacant from 1 December 2026.
