Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry level in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP in masonry
Experience: More than 2 years in similar roles
The profile they look for:
- CAP or BEP in masonry and more than 2 years of similar experience.
- Driving licence category B required.
- Driving machinery possible with CACES; AIPR preferred.
- Strong team spirit, punctual and available.
- Public service mindset and ability to adapt.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- No remote work and no management role.
- 36.5 hours per week; 25 days of annual leave, 9 RTT days and 9 compensatory days.
- Possible on-call duty, especially in winter; work at height and heavy lifting.
