The profile they look for:
- Driving licence B required, PL licence preferred.
- Rigorous and organised, with good people skills.
- Knowledge of urban roads and drainage.
- Knowledge of site safety and regulations.
- CACES certificate may be required for some equipment.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Outdoor work, in all weather.
- Safety clothing is compulsory.
- Technical on-call duty and night work if needed.
- Remote work is not possible.
