Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A contract worker can be hired when no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of collective catering, cooking and dietetics.
- Knowledge of hygiene and food safety rules.
- Knowledge of food allergies and the nutritional needs of children.
- Ability to organise a team and handle several tasks at once.
- Independence, versatility and a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
