Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experience in a similar job is wanted.
The profile they look for:
- Follow procedures and safety rules.
- Apply good hygiene practices.
- Know basic cooking techniques.
- Show initiative, energy and autonomy.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
