Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- A first experience in collective catering is ideal.
- Know the hygiene and safety rules of collective catering.
- Know the sanitary control plan, HACCP training less than 2 years old.
- Work well in a team, with rigour and initiative.
- Use digital tools such as email and the intranet.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
