Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experience in catering (listed in the profile).
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety rules.
- Knowledge of the HACCP method.
- Experience in the catering field.
- Sense of public service, good relations and teamwork.
- Reactivity, rigour and ability to organise.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- A driving licence (permit B) is required for delivering exceptional catering orders.
- Shifted hours possible, sometimes in the evening or at weekends.
- Possible to work in the cafeteria and deliver to outside sites.
