Civil servants and contract workers can apply. The grade is an entry grade in category C, so no competitive exam is needed. A contract worker can be hired when no civil servant has applied.

- Know the hygiene and safety rules for public roads.
- Car driving licence (permis VL) required.
- React quickly to requests and know how to use Neocity.
- Be responsible and follow safety instructions.
- Work well in a team and communicate with the public.
- Be well organised, punctual and independent.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer’s website. You can also send your CV and cover letter to the town hall’s human resources department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Car driving licence (permis VL) required.
- Wearing the personal protective equipment provided is mandatory.
- Working time: 39 hours per week.
- Duty on Saturdays and Sundays, sometimes on public holidays.
