Civil servants and contract staff. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experience in a similar job would be a plus.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of road maintenance techniques.
- Knowledge of safety rules.
- Use of hand and power tools.
- Teamwork.
- Independence and rigour.
- A driving licence (category B) would be a plus.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
