Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, as the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know how specific equipment works, such as the aerial platform.
- Read and understand plans, diagrams, manuals and safety rules.
- Organise your work according to written or spoken instructions.
- Be rigorous, energetic and responsive.
- Have good physical stamina.
- Hold the required electrical authorisations and CACES PEMP certificate.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 27 (Closes in 30 days)
Send your application to the human resources department, by email or by post, before 27 November 2026.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- One week of on-call technical duty per month.
- Driving licence B required, with frequent travel.
- Daytime hours, and continuous day hours in summer.
- Electrical authorisations and CACES PEMP certificate required.
