Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C. A contract worker can be hired when no civil servant application has succeeded.

- Good knowledge of public space maintenance techniques.
- Good knowledge and use of equipment and tools.
- Organised, independent, rigorous and able to adapt.
- Good physical fitness: carrying loads, standing for long periods.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Very seasonal work, with peaks linked to weather conditions.
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
- Work with tools, small equipment and carrying loads.
- Remote work not possible.
