Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP vocational certificate
The profile they look for:
- CAP or BEP vocational certificate.
- Electrical authorisation BR and BS.
- Driving licence category B.
- CACES PEMP 1B certificate.
- Skills in metalwork, plumbing, heating and building.
- Rigour, independence, quick reactions and teamwork.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 20 (Closes in 22 days)
Apply on the employer's website linked in the offer. You can also send your cover letter and CV by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Work outside in all weather, and work at height.
- Unusual working hours possible depending on needs.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Driving licence B and CACES PEMP 1B required.
