Civil servants and contract agents can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Valid driving licences B, C and super-heavy
- Up-to-date FIMO or FCO training
- CACES R482 for the equipment used
- CACES R490 for a vehicle with a loading crane
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 30 (Closes in 30 days)
Apply on the employer's website, linked from the offer page. Send your application to the president of the council.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- The job is vacant from 1 December 2026.
- A category C driving licence and crane CACES are required, depending on the job.
- The contract is offered under article L332-8 of the general civil service code.
