Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the adjoint d'animation grade is an entry grade in category C.

Experience: Experience in activities or youth work is wanted.
The profile they look for:
- BAFA or CAP Petite enfance would be a plus.
- Ability to work in a team and good communication.
- Independence, availability and sense of responsibility.
- Knowledge of children.
- Rigour, patience, teaching skills and listening.
- Sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Working time is spread over the year, with more activity during school holidays.
