Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Good skills in cleaning and disinfection techniques
- Essential knowledge of food hygiene and safety rules (HACCP)
- Good organisation and ability to work on your own
- Rigour in following protocols
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 1 (Closes today)
Apply on the employer's website, as stated in the offer. The offer also asks you to send your CV and cover letter to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C post.
- Remote work not possible.
- Post vacant from 1 November 2026.
- Protective equipment must be worn and hygiene rules strictly followed.
