Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, as one of the grades is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Confirmed (experienced level).
The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of building maintenance (electrics, plumbing, joinery, painting).
- Very comfortable with office software and work-tracking tools.
- Strong autonomy and sense of organisation.
- Quick reactions and excellent relations with residents and elected officials.
- Driving licence category B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
