The job is preferably open to civil servants (transfer, secondment, aptitude list). A person who has not passed a competitive exam can also be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Master manual and machine cleaning and disinfection techniques.
- Know how to use electrical appliances and mechanical equipment.
- Know how to choose and measure cleaning products for each surface.
- Know and apply hygiene and safety rules.
- Master safe lifting and handling movements.
- Be organised, independent and a good team player.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Rotating shifts: morning (about 6:30 to 15:00) or afternoon (about 11:15 to 20:00).
- Lifting loads, heat, cold, noise, dangerous products and work at height.
- The offer is accessible to disabled people.
