Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A candidate who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade is category C.

The profile they look for:
- Ideally, experience in cleaning techniques and handling products.
- Knowledge of different surfaces, to avoid damage during cleaning.
- Knowledge of risks from chemicals and high-pressure water.
- Knowledge of health and safety rules.
- Good people skills, versatility and quick reactions.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Open grades: adjoint technique, adjoint technique principal de 2nd or 1st class.
