The post is preferably open to civil servants (transfer, secondment, approval list). It is also open to contract staff, because the entry grade in category C allows direct hiring without a competitive exam.

The profile they look for:
- Master maintenance techniques in one or more trades
- Know and apply safety rules
- Know how to store and use dangerous products
- Use correct lifting and handling postures
- Organise your work according to the schedule
- Work independently and well as part of a team
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Driving a service vehicle may be required
