Diploma: CAP or BEP in plumbing, painting or masonry
Experience: Experienced, in a similar job in the public service
The profile they look for:
- CAP or BEP in plumbing, painting or masonry.
- Good technical knowledge of buildings and low-voltage electricity.
- Knowledge of safety rules for buildings and public establishments (ERP).
- Driving licence (permis B) and ability to work at height.
- Experience in a similar job in the public service.
- Rigorous, responsive, and a good team player.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
