Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired for this entry-level category C grade.

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website linked from the official offer. You can also send your cover letter and CV by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Work outdoors on public roads.
- Driving licence B required.
- On-call duties, including snow clearing.
- Remote work not possible.
