1 Check the conditions You are here
Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Driving licence category B at least.
- Electrical authorisation required.
- Knowledge of safety rules for events.
- Basic technical knowledge: audiovisual, electricity, sound, lighting, IT.
- Able to analyse a situation and suggest solutions.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 1 (Closes today)
Send your CV and cover letter to the town hall, by email or by post, before the deadline. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Benefits: group health insurance contract, contribution to a labelled provident scheme, meal vouchers.
