Civil servants and contract workers can apply. You do not need to have passed a civil service exam, because the entry grade in category C allows direct hiring.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Vocational baccalaureate in electricity or electronics
Experience: Experienced level, ideally in electrical work
The profile they look for:
- Vocational baccalaureate in electricity or electronics
- Experience in electrical work, ideally with basic automation skills
- Comfortable with computers
- Good written communication
- Responsive, proactive and good with people
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 26 (Closes in 29 days)
Apply on the employer's website, the SDEA. Send your CV and cover letter before the deadline.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- On-call duty one week in four, in the long term.
- Post vacant from 01/01/2027.
- Category C post, no management role.
