Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Possible training areas: personal care, building maintenance and hygiene, hygiene and environment jobs, catering jobs.
The profile they look for:
- Know basic hygiene and safety rules, including HACCP.
- Know which cleaning products and equipment to use for each task.
- Know basic techniques for collective catering.
- Good interpersonal skills, team spirit, organisation and care.
- Discretion, self-control and availability.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Annualised working time: 1,567 hours per year (not housed) or 1,706 hours (housed for absolute service needs).
