Civil servants applying by transfer and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

- Knowledge of green space maintenance methods.
- Good skills in mowing, brush clearing and pruning.
- Knowledge of plants and what they need.
- Safe use of ride-on mowers, brush cutters and chainsaws.
- Follows safety rules and works well in a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- 35 hours a week, with hours adjusted to the needs of the service.
- Car driving licence (permis B) required; heavy vehicle licence and CACES certificates wanted.
- Extra hours may be asked for during events or busy periods.
- Remote work is not possible.
