Open to civil servants (by transfer) and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Confirmed (experienced) level.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of green space maintenance techniques.
- Skill in mowing, brush clearing and pruning.
- Safe use of ride-on mower, brush cutter, hedge trimmer, rotary cultivator or chainsaw.
- Respect for safety rules.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence (permis B) required.
- Heavy goods vehicle licence and CACES for tractor shovel, mini digger and cherry picker are wanted.
- 35 hours per week, hours may change with the needs of the service; overtime possible.
- No remote work.
