Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly for this entry-level category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know hygiene, safety and food hygiene rules.
- Know cleaning products and equipment and read their labels.
- Work on your own according to the schedule and instructions.
- Be rigorous, discreet and respectful of management.
- Have a team spirit and a public service mindset.
- Behave appropriately in a school environment.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Direct hiring possible without a competition.
