Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know safety, alert and evacuation procedures.
- Be able to handle tense or aggressive situations.
- Use IT tools and alarm systems.
- Be alert, responsive and rigorous.
- Show autonomy and ability to adapt.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Night hours, 8pm to 6am, Monday to Thursday. No duty shifts.
- Housing provided: a 3-room flat (F3) at the high school.
- Long periods standing and shifted hours.
- Remote work is not possible.
