Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experience in similar jobs is valued, but not required.
The profile they look for:
- Be dynamic, versatile and interested in waste sorting.
- Be able to take initiative and find practical solutions in the field.
- Use computer tools well: office software, smartphone, GIS.
- Have very good people skills, and be rigorous and alert.
- Hold a category B driving licence; CACES R489 required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
