Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Hold the adjoint technique territorial job group (adjoints techniques territoriaux).
- Know and use cleaning and collection tools.
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Have a public service mindset.
- Respect the chain of command.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 1 (Closes in 3 days)
Apply on the employer's website, through the official offer. Contacting them or sending a CV by email does not count as an application.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Position vacant from 1 December 2026.
- Meal vouchers worth 10.50 € after one month of waiting period.
- Contribution to health insurance or provident cover, transport costs and the Pass métropolitain.
- Category C, adjoint technique grades.
