Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know the local area and its social and economic features.
- Master composting and natural gardening techniques.
- Be able to design and lead an outreach activity.
- Use Word and Excel and consolidate data.
- Have a service-minded, friendly and listening approach.
- Hold a driving licence (permis B).
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 8 (Closes in 10 days)
Send your handwritten cover letter and CV only by email to the address given in the offer. Put the job title and the offer reference in the email subject.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence (permis B) required.
- Remote work not possible.
- Category C post, no management role.
