Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety rules and the HACCP method
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning products
- Able to read a cleaning instruction and a safety notice
- Able to receive and pass on instructions in writing
- Good physical fitness, especially for carrying heavy loads
- Punctual, available, and good with children
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 21 (Closes in 48 days)
Send your CV and cover letter to the town hall, as stated in the offer. You can also apply on the employer's site from the offer page.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
