Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP (collectivité) or BEP SMS
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Know cleaning methods for deep cleaning.
- Know health rules (HACCP) and good practices.
- Apply safe working movements and postures.
- Be welcoming, available and dynamic.
- Handle stress and emergencies calmly.
- Work well in a team and communicate well.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Category C job, no management duties.
- Open to the grades of adjoint technique (principal 1st or 2nd class).
