Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly at this entry grade of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Report accurately.
- Apply signage, safety and workplace health rules.
- Coordinate work with police, gendarmerie or emergency services.
- Know the basic technical documentation on roads.
- Show initiative and be available.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- B and C driving licences are required.
- On-call duty possible due to weather conditions.
- Benefits: 25 days of leave, 23 RTT days and service vehicle for work trips.
