Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.

Experience: Not stated; a first experience in road works would be appreciated.
The profile they look for:
- A first experience in road works is appreciated.
- Know the safety rules for work sites.
- Know VRD techniques, including masonry and asphalt.
- Know how to use tools such as a chainsaw or jackhammer.
- Be rigorous and take responsibility seriously.
- Enjoy teamwork and outdoor manual work.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Driving licence B and C required, as you must travel within the area.
- Weekly on-call duty, with call-outs outside fixed hours.
- Two similar posts are open.
- Remote work is not possible.
