Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A contract agent can be hired when no civil servant application has succeeded. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, as the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of drinking water, sewage and irrigation networks
- Skills in laying pipes, fitting meters and making connections
- Ability to read plans and survey underground networks
- Strict compliance with safety rules
- Driving licence B, C and BE at least, AIPR operator, CACES R482 cat. A
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 11 (Closes in 10 days)
Apply on the employer's website, using the link on the official offer. You can also send your file electronically to the recruitment address given in the offer, which is preferred.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
