1 Check the conditions You are here
Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Category C driving licence required, EC licence appreciated.
- CACES 4 and 9 required (grab excavator, machinery).
- Electrical authorisation required.
- Autonomy and ability to work in a team.
- Follows procedures, hygiene and safety rules.
- Versatile, available, and interested in the environment.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 30 (Closes tomorrow)
Send your CV and cover letter before the deadline, by email or by post to the HR department. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full time: 39 hours a week from October to April, 42 hours from May to September.
- 25 days of annual leave, 2 split-leave days and 28 RTT days a year.
- Gloves, reflective work clothing and safety shoes are mandatory.
- Position vacant from 1 January 2027.
