Civil servants and contract workers can apply. No competitive exam is needed, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of road maintenance and related areas.
- Knowledge of temporary worksite traffic signs.
- Car driving licence (permis VL) required, lorry licence (PL) preferred.
- SST first-aid certificate appreciated.
- AIPR certificate appreciated.
- Good organisation, teamwork and rigour.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- On-call duty and winter road care included.
- May be asked to support other road centres.
